Traditional yet modern:

red and black border with white body is a very traditional style for us bengalies. But there is a special touch of modernity by amrapali which makes this a must wear for morning functions, office meetings, lectures and seminars. and I must say it caught lot of eyes and received appreciation from lot of people. and yes the quality of fabric is also very satisfactory.

The border of the saree was in reverse order, instead of black border at the bottom it was red at the bottom so the saree didn't look as beautiful as was shown in the original picture
